Seton Hall Prep

The SHP Sailing Club had a successful spring season, finishing in 2nd place in regattas out of Perth Amboy and 4th place out of 18 teams in regattas out of Toms River.

This season, Ryan D’Orsi '26 and Colby Christian '27 returned as skippers with Lucas Romano '28 as crew, along with two new freshman crew members, Landon Rinaldi '29 and Thomas Palermo '29. Sankit Upadhyay '26 sailed in one regatta as sub, which allowed the team to be able to compete.

🎣 2nd Place at the 2026 NJ Governor's Cup!

Congratulations to our Fishing Club on placing 2nd at the New Jersey Governor's Cup Fishing Tournament in the High School Division.

Michael Mokris '28, Luka Fiore '28, Charlie Banta '27, Chris Harriott '28, Liam Salcedo '27, Brandon Williams '28, and Kyle Boyle '27 earned their placement after a tiebreaker against Manasquan, highlighted by Mokris landing a 30.5" Striped Bass.

Great work to all and a special shout out to club leaders Chris Harriott, Liam Salcedo, and Charlie Banta for organizing the trip and their leadership throughout the day.
