Established in 2009 under the wing of the North Hudson Islamic Education Center Rising Star Academy (RSA) is a full-time academic institution catering to the elementary through high school levels. RSA is a full-time school staffed with qualified, experienced education professionals serving the North Hudson community and its surrounding areas. RSA was founded to provide students of diverse backgrounds comprehensive educational opportunities. This institution encourages academic excellence and strives to inspire a love of lifelong learning in its students. Along with academic excellence, RSA works to develop strong, Islamic character within its students. RSA is conveniently located in the New York Metropolitan Area of Union City, in Hudson County, approximately seven miles Northwest of New York City. Rising Star Academy is a college preparatory school that strives to give students the knowledge and skills they will need to succeed in college and move on to the careers of their choice. Rising Star Academy aims to have a 100% college attendance rate post-graduation, with students currently applying to colleges ranging from state universities to top tier institutions.
