📚☀️ Drew Elementary Summer Reading Challenge! ☀️📚
We want to see our Drew students enjoying books all summer long!
Here’s how to enter:�📸 Take a picture of your child reading a book.�💬 Post the picture in the comments on this post.�📖 Each submission must feature a different book.
✨ There is no limit to the number of entries each student can submit! The more books they read, the more chances they have to win. Just make sure each photo includes a different book.
🎒 One lucky winner will receive their school supplies for the 2026–2027 school year!
📅 The winner will be announced on Monday, August 3rd.
Let’s make this a summer full of reading, imagination, and fun! We can’t wait to see all of our Drew Bobcats with their favorite books. ❤️🐾📚

We can’t wait to see all of our Bobcat Friends & Families for our Awards Day Ceremonies tomorrow!🎓🐾

We are so proud of our Bobcat Student Council Leaders and so thankful for MedCamps of Louisiana!🐾

Today, our Bobcat Broadcast crew got an exciting behind-the-scenes look at what careers in reporting and production can lead to! 🎥🎙️

Students first visited the central office, where Mrs. Tabby Truxillo gave them a tour of the podcast and video production studio. They even got to test out their teleprompter skills like real broadcasters!

Next, the crew headed to KNOE for an inside look at how the news is created each day. Students practiced using the green screen while pointing out cities just like professional meteorologists. They also had the opportunity to meet Zach Johnson, a former Bobcat, who showed them just how far their dreams can take them!

We wrapped up the day with a celebratory lunch at Johnny’s Pizza to recognize all the hard work these students have put in throughout the year. We are so proud of our Bobcats and can’t wait to see where their talents take them next! 🐾

Our top 20 students who raised funds for Drew Dash were treated to fun at Surge Entertainment Center today and had a BLAST!

Happy National Principal’s Day to the one and only Mrs. Freeman! We couldn’t let the day pass without celebrating how fun, intentional, caring, kind, and brilliant you are.
Drew Elementary is a better place because of your leadership, heart, and dedication. We are so thankful for all you do for our students, staff, and school every single day! We love you so much, Mrs. Freeman!🐾💙

Drew Pre-K had the BEST day today! While our 3rd–5th graders were working so hard on their LEAP tests (we are so proud of them! 💪📚), our little learners were busy with an exciting room transformation day!

Our classroom turned into a cozy, fun-filled space where we made the sweetest memories together… literally! We enjoyed a special “S’more Memories” day full of smiles, laughter, and hands-on fun. 🍫🔥

Days like these remind us that learning happens in so many ways—through creativity, play, and making moments that our students will always remember. 💛
