🎉💜 Celebrating Three Amazing Retirees! 🩵🎉

On Monday morning, our school came together for a special assembly to honor three incredible educators whose dedication has made a lasting impact on generations of students.

🎵 Mrs. Moore, Music Teacher – 37 years of service
📚 Mrs. Nienhuis, Special Education Teacher – 31 years of service
🍎 Mrs. Ignatius, Special Education Educational Assistant – 25 years of service

Our students helped make the celebration extra special by presenting each retiree with a tiara, sash, and thoughtful gifts to recognize their years of commitment and care. 👑✨

Thank you, Mrs. Moore, Mrs. Nienhuis, and Mrs. Ignatius, for the countless lives you have touched, the relationships you have built, and the difference you have made in our school community. Your impact will be felt for years to come, and you will always be a part of our Pershing family. 💜🦅🩵

Congratulations to our incredible 5th grade students on completing elementary school! Today we celebrate your hard work, growth, friendships, and the many memories you’ve made along the way. 🌟

You have learned, led, laughed, and persevered, and we are so proud of everything you’ve accomplished. As you take the next step to middle school, remember to stay curious, kind, and confident in yourselves.

🏁☀️ Field Day Fun: Off to the Races! ☀️🏁

Our 3rd–5th grade students had an amazing time at Field Day with this year’s theme, "Off to the Races!" 🏎️🏁 Students enjoyed a variety of fun relay races and activities, showing teamwork, sportsmanship, and plenty of school spirit along the way.

One of the biggest highlights of the day was the water station, where students had the chance to cool off while having a blast! 💦😄

A huge thank you to Mrs. Dannhoff for organizing another fantastic Field Day and to all of the staff volunteers who helped run the stations and make the morning such a success! We appreciate all of your hard work in creating a fun and memorable experience for our students! We are looking forward to our 4K-2 Field Day tomorrow!💜🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

🏃‍♀️💜 Girls on the Run 5K! 🩵🏃‍♀️

Congratulations to our amazing Girls on the Run participants who crossed the finish line at the Girls on the Run 5K on Sunday, May 31, at American Family Field! 🎉

Throughout the season, these girls built confidence, developed healthy habits, strengthened friendships, and discovered that they are capable of achieving great things. The 5K was a wonderful celebration of their hard work, perseverance, and growth!

We are so proud of each and every participant and grateful to our coaches, families, and supporters who helped make this experience possible. Way to go, Girls on the Run—you showed us what it means to be strong, confident, and unstoppable! 💜✨

💜🎶 “Right Here, Right Now” — A Final Standing Ovation for Mrs. Moore 🎶🩵

Last week, Mrs. Darlene Moore shared her final performance with us, "Right Here, Right Now"! The show was everything we have come to love and expect from Mrs. Moore: always full of energy, creativity, amazing dances, boomwhackers, theatrics, and unforgettable surprises. 🌟

For years, Mrs. Moore has created performances that brought joy, confidence, and memories to countless students and families. Her final song, “Count on Me,” was the perfect ending to a truly remarkable career. 🦅

Mrs. Moore is a legend in every sense of the word, and while she will be greatly missed, the impact she has made on our students and Pershing community will last forever! Thank you for sharing your talent, passion, and heart with all of us. 🎵🩵
