It was a great day to be a Titan!

When a WMASD family recently lost their home and belongings in a devastating house fire the district and the West Mifflin Lions Club came together to offer support. The Lions Club provided a generous cash donation and teachers across WMASD organized a special fundraiser to present the family with gift cards. This effort was coordinated by the WMAMS Kind Closet group. We are grateful to everyone who came together with compassion and care helping this family begin to rebuild after such a profound loss.

💙💛The WM community NEVER disappoints.💙💛

So many people showed up to fulfill our Titan Tree of Giving. A week ago, we considered scrapping the whole initiative, but in true WM fashion, It all came together and we are ready to deliver tomorrow. So many thoughtful donations were dropped off, picked up, shopped for, and delivered by the students, staff and community members-then sorted, organized, and wrapped by students, teachers, and staff members.

💙💛This couldn't be done without so many people...it truly takes a village. THANK YOU for being an integral part of that village. We wish we could write individual Thank You cards to every single person involved! 💙💛

💙💛Thank you for keeping the 🎅🏽🎁🎄magic alive 🎄🎅🏽🎁for our kids! Because of you, they will get to experience the magic of kindness and Christmas spirit!💙💛

🎄Our donations are definitely down this year so far, so we are hoping for a big push over the weekend to help bring the magic of Christmas to our families in need! Any donation helps!!!🎅🏽

If you are looking for somewhere to give on this "Giving Tuesday", please consider choosing an item from our wish list to help a student in the West Mifflin community.

There are students on this list whose families lost everything in fires, homeless students, students that live in tumultuous broken families, foster children, students with incarcerated parent(s) and students that are facing other major hardships that kids should have to face.

Every single student on this list-when asked their wish list-gave necessities. To get items they really wanted, we really had to ask them several times for things they really really wished for.

Any help is apprecisted, and if you are unable to give, a share helps us put also!
