Dear WMHS 1976 Classmate,
We are pleased to announce a date for our 50th Class Reunion. August 29&30, 2026. This is a Saturday and Sunday.
We would like to have our picture taken at the WMHS underneath the Oak Tree Saturday before our Ice Breaker, plan to meet there at 5:30pm. Our Oak Tree was celebrated in 2025 and received recognition as a Champion Tree. It is believed to be almost 355 years old. The tree is a Quercus alba or white oak and stands 78 feet tall and has a 106-foot spread. The cost of the Picture will be $20.00 which will cover the cost of mailing it to you. We may also have a Photo taken at the Event Center in which case if you get both it will be $35.00. That money will be paid to the photographer on the day of the picture taking and she requests Cash.
An Ice Breaker will be at Nancy's Tavern, 3453 Sharon Road, West Middlesex, PA 16159- Saturday August 29th at 6:00pm til?. This will be Cash Bar. We will have a 50/50 drawing.
On Sunday August 30, 2026, we will come together at Turkey Run Hollow Wedding & Event Center located at 97 Oak Hill Road, West Middlesex, PA 16159. www.turkeyrunhollow.com There will be some alcoholic beverages provided by the committee but if you want to BYOB you can. Due to the licensing at the event, you will need to park it at the bar to be served to you. We will come together at 2:00pm and have Cocktails and Charcuterie. Dinner will be at 3:30pm. Buffett Style (Prime Rib, Parmesan Herb Crusted Chicken, Coconut Crusted Shrimp, Eggplant Rollatini, Mashed Potatoes
and Gravy, Green Bean Almondine, Roasted Vegetable Medley, Salad, Rolls, Coffee, Water, Iced or Hot tea. Dessert Included. Cost $60.00 per person.
We are having Tee shirts made, pricing up to size XL for front and back print $15 each. 2XL is $3 more and 3XL and 4XL are $4 more. They will be red, white and blue and have an oak tree in the cente,r encircled with the words "Bicentennial Class of 1976-50 Year Champions - Semi quincentennial 2026"
A side note: This committee is looking for any volunteers to preside over the administration of future reunions. We will continue to have Ice Breaker's via Facebook and text message invitations or hear say. But we would like to step down from the 5-year reunion administration. Please let us know if you are interested. Thank you.
