Our first featured teacher is Monthly Teacher Award Winner Jonathan!

Over four years of teaching, Jonathan developed a simple strategy he calls the “Bookend Method”—providing detailed feedback at the beginning and end of class while protecting valuable speaking time throughout the lesson. The result? More fluency practice, greater confidence, and feedback that students can immediately apply.

Daily routine has now taken shape for our Teach Online volunteers! 🌏

Classrooms are filled with energy, and lessons turn into a quick game of UNO (rules optional).

As their time in Nepal comes to an end, it’s in these everyday interactions—between classes, over shared meals, and through plenty of laughter—that their impact really shines through.

Our teachers have become part of the community.

What began as a mission quickly turned into something more.

From high-energy lessons to shared celebrations, our teachers are experiencing life alongside the community.

They are stepping into daily life in Nepal one moment at a time, learning just as much as they teach and sharing unplanned moments that will stay with them forever.

Where education meets impact 🌏

In rural Nepal, over 500 students attend a school rebuilt after the 2015 earthquake—supported by EF and powered by community.

Now, our teachers are here.

Through our voluntouring program, they’re spending 3 weeks teaching, learning, and living alongside students and local educators—helping open the world through education.

And this is just the beginning!
