We just lost another brother. It is with sadness we say good bye to one of the warmest and dedicated Fraternity Brothers, Mike (Frog) Costa. He died at Shore Medical Center on Saturday December 21, 2024. Frog will be missed by everyone who knew him. Here are Bruce Main’s words: An Ode to Frog. Oh Frog, a soul both steadfast and true, a brother, a mentor, to countless who knew. From Monmouth’s halls, where dreams take flight, To Delta Sigma Phi, your bond burns bright. An educator’s heart, with wisdom to share, guiding young minds with patient care. On soccer fields, your legend was made, One of Jersey’s finest, your victories displayed. With ponies, you’d wagere, with flair and delight, Chasing the thrill from morning to night. And with “Mary Jane,” a friend long and dear, You found in her solace, laghter, and cheer. Your outlook on life, unique and profound, A way of seeing few others have found. Your legacy lives in your West Point son, A testament to all the good you’ve done. Oh Frog, a spirit no mold could confine, A life well-lived so deeply entwined. May your story be told, your memory shine, A friend, a coach, a brother divine.
