No 5pm class today - 6pm and 7pm are still on. I am out sick, Baker Sensei is in Florida, McDonald Sensei sprained his ankle during Shinsaki - so Gold Sensei will be teaching the Kids Aikido (6pm) with an assist from Vivian and Brooke (our teen assistants). Gold Sensei will be teaching the teen / adult class as well.

TONIGHT: NO CLASS - as a rest for the hard work everyone put in over the last month!

1) West Linn dojo took 1st place in the Division 2 Team Rolling Event!

2) Congrats to Alex & Ryan for 1st place in the Division 2 Pairs!

3) Congrats to Michael and Calvin for winning 4th place in Div 2 pairs!

4) Congrats to Q Ortiz for winning BOTH 4th and 5th place in Division 1 Pairs!

5) Congrats to Q's partner Thorin for winning 5th place!

6) Congrats to Jaxon and Matthew for an outstanding performance in Division 3!

7) Congrats to Katie McDonald & her partner Hannah for a wonderful Division 3 performance!

8) Congrats to McDonald Sensei and Brooke Baker for giving the other Senseis in Division 4 a run for their money!

DOJO CHRISTMAS PARTY!

Thursday, Dec 18th.
LASER TAG, CANDY CANES, SNACKS and SAKE TOAST!

5-6pm Lil Samurai Laser Tag (come dressed in GI)
6-7pm Kids Aikido Laser Tag (come dressed in GI)
7-8pm Adults & families: Bring a snack/treat to pass, Dojo will be handing out candy canes and juice to the kids. A Sake Toast will be held after 7pm.

Come be social and toast the new year!

Hello West Linn dojo families (current and former) and extended Ki Society families.

As many of you may or may not know, we are one of the large Halloween display yards in Portland. We invite everyone to come out any night between now and Halloween to check it out.

Our display is custom built and includes animatronic monsters, holographic effects and more. Beginning this weekend, there will be a lit path for you to walk thru to see our monsters close up. And of course on Halloween, all sounds will be fully activated and our candy shoot will be ready for the kiddos.

KIDS CLASS CANCELLED TONIGHT.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I have to cancel tonight's 5pm Lil' Samurai & 6pm Kids Class.

Unfortunately, I have fallen ill since Monday and the rest of our kids instructors are out of town (returning today actually) from the Tokyo Japan seminar. So we have no available substitute teachers.

Gold Sensei will still be teaching the 7pm Teen/Adult class.

Normal classes resume on Monday.
