PSA: Sure, it’s the beginning of summer and a great time to ride your motorcycle, but it’s never too early to get ready for next ski season. In an effort to get an early start, we are going to ask you to start praying for snow now. No reason to wait until November. IYKYK

I am so stoked for Meadow’s newest addition to the resort, a full menu McDonalds franchise will replace the Mazot. Who needs an On-Mountain Bistro when you can enjoy fast food on Mt. Hood? The Golden Arches will be located between the top of Mt. Hood Express and bottom of Cascade Express.) A Mt. Hood Meadows spokesperson related that Meadows was simply following European resort trends in an effort to accommodate its loyal customers, attract new ones and to cater to the younger generation of ski clients. New improvements in milkshake production will ensure a constant stream of shakes as well as a rumor of McRibs available year round!

This Sunday is the last day of the season. Thanks for being such a terrific group!

Tomorrow, February 1st, will be the last day of January programs. February 8th will be the first day of February programs and will conclude March 1st.

If you weren’t able to get on our February West Linn Ski Bus since we filled up so quickly, the elementary program has openings and will take all ages. You can register using their Go Code which is 1163287 or contact Jennifer Butts at [email protected].

The ski bus will arrive at 5:15 PM. 35 minutes away.

We will be arriving at West Linn High School at 5:00 PM.

Mt. Hood Meadows cancelled tomorrow’s program .

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - Mt. Hood Meadows is pausing operations Friday and Saturday due to poor conditions.

The ski resort announced on Facebook Friday that it was suspending operations because of “the saturation of the snowpack” from heavy rainfall.

“We need to allow the water to drain from the snowpack, as operating under these conditions would cause damage and negatively impact our ability to operate in the days ahead,” the resort said in the post.
