A small stone can become a character, a family symbol, or the beginning of an entire story.
Join us this Saturday for Story Stones and Family Wishes, a free Community Saturday filled with creativity, storytelling, and family connection.

Children can decorate their own story stones and create a family wish to take home.
Families may also choose to participate in a complimentary portrait opportunity with our featured partner, Evelynne Gomes Greenberg of Evelynne Gomes Greenberg Photography.

Each participating family may receive one family portrait delivered digitally. Portraits will be available on a first-come, first-served basis as time allows.

We are delighted to welcome Evelynne Gomes Greenberg of Evelynne Gomes Greenberg Photography as the featured partner for our September Community Saturday.

Evelynne is an Oregon family photographer whose warm, playful approach focuses on love, connection, and the genuine moments families share.

Rather than asking children to sit still and smile for the camera, Evelynne creates a relaxed experience where children can be themselves. Her approach feels beautifully aligned with the child-led, relationship-centered environment at Little Nestlings.

During Story Stones and Family Wishes, Evelynne will offer an optional complimentary family portrait opportunity. Each participating family may receive one family portrait delivered digitally, available on a first-come, first-served basis as time allows.

Children can create their own story stones while families enjoy a relaxed morning of creativity, storytelling, and connection.

Join us Saturday, September 12, from 10:00–11:00 a.m. for a free Community Saturday at Little Nestlings.

Children can choose and decorate a story stone, use it to inspire a character or story, and create a family wish alongside the people they love.

We will also be joined by Oregon family photographer Evelynne Gomes Greenberg of Evelynne Gomes Greenberg Photography. Evelynne will offer an optional complimentary family portrait opportunity during the event.

Our first week of school is in the books! 💛 As everyone settles into new friendships, new teachers, and new routines, we’ve already witnessed so many magical moments of teamwork, joy, connection, and discovery.

At Little Nestlings, creating an environment where every child feels safe, valued, seen, and heard is at the heart of what we do. We’re so grateful for the beautiful beginning we’ve shared—and we can’t wait to see where this year takes us! 🌿✨

🍂 Only a few spots available... Fall preschool enrollment is open at Little Nestlings!

If you’re looking for a warm, creative preschool where your child can explore, create, build friendships, spend time outdoors, and learn through play, we’d love to welcome your family for a visit.

Little Nestlings is a Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool in West Linn for children ages 3–5. Our days include art, outdoor exploration, STEAM, storytelling, imaginative play, ASL exposure, and lots of opportunities for children to follow their curiosity and grow in confidence.

For the 2026–2027 school year:

🌿 Ages 3–5
🌿 2–5 days per week, based on availability
🌿 School day: 8:15 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
🌿 Optional aftercare available until 5:00 p.m.
🌿 Serving families in West Linn, Lake Oswego, Oregon City, and surrounding communities

Summer camp is officially a wrap! ☀️✨

Little Nestlings will be closed next week while our team takes some well-deserved time to rest and recharge, our school gets a deep clean, and we put the finishing touches on preparations for fall. We’ll be back before you know it! 💛

Children’s Atelier Camp is a wrap! Week 2 was full of color, curiosity, and creativity! 🎨 We mixed and discovered new colors, shared ideas and observations, explored art books together, and let those conversations inspire our own creations. Another beautiful week of seeing children as artists, thinkers, and capable creators. ✨
