We loved seeing each child’s creativity shine as they designed their own unique garden creation—no two were alike! One of our favorite surprises was the impromptu puppet show that emerged, reminding us how magical open-ended play can be.

Today we gathered for one of our favorite traditions—our end-of-year family picnic. 🌞🧺

Together we shared snacks, laughter, popsicles, and precious time with the families who make our Little Nestlings community so special. As we celebrate all the growth, friendships, discoveries, and memories from this school year, we’re also feeling a little bittersweet.

For some of our children and families, this is goodbye for now as they spread their wings and begin new adventures. For others, it’s simply “see you soon” as we look forward to another year together.

Thank you for trusting us with your children, supporting our school community, and making this year so meaningful. We hope your summer is filled with wonder, play, and plenty of time outdoors.

This is a relaxed, hands-on morning for young children and their families. Perfect for kids who love nature, collecting, creating, and noticing the small details of the world around them.

One of our favorite annual traditions!🐛🦋

Over the past few weeks, we’ve had the incredible opportunity to observe tiny Painted Lady caterpillars transform through each stage of their life cycle. From hungry caterpillars to chrysalises and finally beautiful butterflies, the children watched with wonder, asked thoughtful questions, and learned so much about metamorphosis.

Earlier this week we celebrated by releasing our butterflies into the garden, where they can continue their journey. Experiences like these help children build a connection to the natural world while fostering curiosity, patience, and a sense of awe.

We’re hiring a temporary Classroom Aide to join our preschool team! 🍎✨

We’re looking for someone warm, dependable, and ready to jump into a busy, joyful classroom environment from May 26–June 5 while one of our aides is on a short medical leave.

Requirements:
• Current background check
• Completed Safety Set trainings
