💙💛 MCHS BACK-TO-SCHOOL REMINDERS! 💛💙
Tomorrow is the day! We are so excited to welcome our Cougars back to MCHS! 🐾 As we prepare for the first day, please review these important reminders:
⏰ MORNING ARRIVAL
• Doors open at 7:15 AM. We encourage families not to arrive too early or flood the school area until close to the time doors open.
• If your child is a parent drop-off/pick-up student, please use the arrival/pick-up location you selected. Students will also report to that same selected area for dismissal tomorrow.
• Students who would like breakfast should go to the cafeteria when they arrive.
• After breakfast, or upon arrival if they are not eating:
➡️ 7th–10th Grade: Report to the gym and sit under the sign for your grade level.
➡️ 11th–12th Grade: Report to the auditorium.
🌅 SENIORS — SENIOR SUNRISE!
Senior Sunrise begins at 6:30 AM tomorrow at Don McKenzie Field! Seniors should plan to enjoy this special Class of 2027 tradition and then be inside the school building by 7:50 AM.
📚 SCHEDULES
Students will receive another copy of their class schedule during 1st period, so don’t worry if you don’t have your schedule with you tomorrow morning! Schedule changes will not be done until next week and will begin with 12th grade.
🚗 STUDENT DRIVERS
Students may drive to school tomorrow and should park in designated student parking areas. Parking passes will be sold during lunch next week.
🍿 BREAK
Snacks will be available for purchase during break for $1.00 each.
🔔 AFTERNOON DISMISSAL
Parent pick-up students and student drivers will be released at 3:06 PM.
Parents/guardians, please make sure you pick up your child in the area you previously selected. Your student will be waiting for you in that area. If your child’s transportation plans change, please call the school office so we can make sure your student gets to the correct location.
🚌 PLEASE WATCH FOR BUSES! Arrival and dismissal will be very busy, especially during the first few days of school. Buses have the right-of-way, so please be alert, drive slowly, follow staff directions, and allow buses plenty of room to enter and exit. Your patience will help us keep everyone safe and keep traffic moving as efficiently as possible.
💙💛 The first few days are an adjustment for everyone as we learn new routines and procedures. Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation as we work to make arrival and dismissal safe and efficient for all of our students. MCHS staff will be here to help!
