We’re so excited to be heading back to the 26/27 school year on Monday! If your student attended summer library and still has books just have them pop them into their backpack. Many teachers plan on doing building tours during the jumpstart days so they can be returned then or all of the special teachers will be together for specials on all 3 days so they will all see me on matter which of the first 3 days they attend and they can hand them off to me then ❤️
I can’t wait to have a fun filled year sharing books and activities with your students!

The final marble maze day was a blast! So many amazing projects!
I can’t believe tomorrow is our final summer library day for the summer of 2026 🥺, it went by so quick this year! We are wrapping up the summer with a game day, feel free to bring a game to share if you want, we do have lots available & can’t wait to see you at 9:00!
Books can either be returned or saved until the first week of school, it’s totally up to you! We still do checkout tomorrow so please let your child know if you want them to checkout!

Today was Day 1 of Marble Maze fun! Check out the video in the comment section of one of the roller coasters a team of kiddos finished!
The mazes are saved and ready for tomorrow’s crew of kids for round 2, see you all at 9:00 for lots more fun!

And another week is done, thanks so much for a wonderful week!
Star Wars Day was full of awesome crafts, some themed freeze dancing, Mr Derr reading us books & Lightsaber tag outside (always my personal favorite each year!)
I can’t believe next week is the last week of summer library already 🥺…see you all on Tuesday at 9:00!

Pokemon Day is always a classic!
To be the ultimate trainer students had to earn 4 pokeballs by doing four stations: listen to a Pokemon story, play the game outside with our awesome volunteers, create a Pokemon hate & finally make any of the other Pokemon crafts! After finishing each station they received their pokeball to color!
We played Guess That Pokemon as a class & wrapped up the day with everyone getting Pokemon cards!

Today we celebrated the country’s 250th Anniversary and the Soccer World Cup.
We learned some history on the Statue of Liberty and also Argentina soccer player Messi.
They made a bookmark and an eagle using their hands and tried to score on our goalie Sawyer.

And that wraps up this week of summer library! Thanks so much to Mrs Huff & Mrs Hodnick for hosting Space these past two days, check out the photos below!

Wednesday they learned all about astronauts and even got to listen to a story read by an astronaut in space! Everyone got to make their own rocket to blast off.

Today we played this or that, learned about the moon, played bingo and did some movement activities.
Space had the biggest turn out of students yet! So awesome having so many students come together!

See you back next Tuesday ❤️🐾
