When military benefits fail or scholarships are denied, students are left "going in blind." The VMSC is the only office on campus dedicated to catching these students before they fall through the cracks.

Peer mentorship and military student orientation aren't "extras"—they are essentials for a soft landing.

These programs are donor-funded. Without your support on , these critical success tools don't happen. Help us empower the next chapter.

For many of our student veterans, Purdue isn't a dorm—it's a destination they drive to. They arrive on campus needing a home base to eat, study, and decompress between classes. We provide the fridge, the microwave, and the community, but as our numbers grow, our "Rally Point" is reaching capacity.

Your gift on April 29 ensures that every commuter has a seat at the table and a stocked "fuel station" to get through the day.

From Field Artillery to Aviation Management: Finding a Second Home.

"I reached out as soon as I received my admittance letter, and they were incredibly helpful with the next steps of being a transitioning service member. Since arriving on campus, the VMSC has been kind of a second home for me." — Jacob White, CPT, FA, USARNG.

Transitioning from 7 years as a Field Artillery Officer to a student at Purdue is a major mission change. For Jacob, the VMSC provided the support structure, career resources, and personal connections needed to gain a foothold within just six months of exiting the Army.

When you give on April 29, you aren't just supporting an office; you are providing a "profound sense of security" for veterans like Jacob during an otherwise turbulent time.

Behind every massive statistic at Purdue is a Boilermaker with a story. Over the last five years, our military-connected student population has surged by 122%, but our mission remains personal.

As SPC Hokanson recently shared with us: "The VMSC helped me every step along the way by bridging the gap between the Army and Purdue."

Our mission is to serve Veterans, Active Military Servicemembers, and their Families. It happens when a student successfully navigates their VA benefits, or when they find peer support through our wellness events and Student Veterans Organization. The VMSC is more than an office; it is the rally point for 3,257 military-connected students.

The numbers are impressive, but the community is what gets our students to the finish line. Learn how you can fuel the rally point on April 29: dayofgiving.purdue.edu
