Join Purdue Society of Women Engineers for our Fall Cookout! This event is a fun and welcoming opportunity for new and returning students to meet other women in engineering, connect with the SWE community, and kick off the semester together.

Attendees will be able to enjoy free food, outdoor games, and casual activities while meeting other students and learning more about SWE. The goal of this event is to create an inclusive, low-pressure environment where students can build friendships and feel more connected to the engineering community at Purdue.

PSWE Pairs: Matches underclassmen with upperclassmen to navigate college life, build friendships, and get advice on being a woman in engineering at Purdue.

The Outreach Committee is partnering with Klondike Elementary School to connect an elementary student with a SWE engineering student. As pen pals, the elementary students will get to learn about engineering and practice their writing skills. The overall goal of this program is to get K-12 students excited about STEM and engineering.

SWE participants and Klondike students will exchange handwritten letters throughout the semester, so if you do not believe you can commit to meeting the deadlines, we'd love to have you next semester instead.
