Tyler Feret is a Purdue Industrial Management graduate, entrepreneur, and technology executive. He founded Meridix, led the company through its acquisition by Stack Sports, and is now founder and CEO of Everyday, an AI-powered schedule-sharing platform.

This three-month, investment-based program provides founders with:

🚀 Have a new venture with the potential to make an impact?

The Baylor New Venture Competition is now accepting applications from collegiate student entrepreneurs and recent alumni from accredited universities around the world!

Hosted by Baylor University’s John F. Baugh Center for Entrepreneurship, the competition gives student founders the opportunity to receive expert feedback, one-on-one mentorship, pitch coaching, and valuable connections while competing for more than $200,000 in cash prizes and in-kind resources.

🏆 First Place: $50,000
🥈 Second Place: $25,000
🥉 Third Place: $10,000

The 2027 competition will culminate with finalists presenting their ventures at Baylor University in April 2027.

Once again this semester, our ENTR 200 students had the great pleasure of spending time with leadership coach, author, trainer and entrepreneur Shelly Bays this week.

Shelly never disappoints!

She brings energy and enthusiasm that's contagious, not to mention her experience and knowledge relative to the "superpower" of recognizing patterns in ourselves and in others, and using that skill to Communicate, Connect and Lead better. Not to mention, recognizing patterns is also what good entrepreneurs do!

Shelly also challenged the students to realize they are all leaders right now by leading themselves to become the person they want to be, and to recognize that while they can influence others, they can only control how they show up each and every day.

So much valuable information, Shelly, thank you for all you do!

We were thrilled to welcome Benedicta Ajah, also known as Dr. B, to Purdue Indianapolis! 🎓🚀

Dr. B joined students and faculty for an inspiring conversation about her entrepreneurial journey. She shared how she transitioned from pharmacy into entrepreneurship and how the Certificate in Entrepreneurship helped shape her path.

Her message to students was simple but powerful: focus on your strengths and passions to discover your purpose. 💡
