🎮 Purdue’s Game Development major has been named one of GameDesigning.org’s “Top 5 Best Game Design Schools in Indiana for 2026.”

Housed in Purdue Polytechnic’s Purdue School of Applied and Creative Computing the program brings together technology, design and creativity. Students build skills in programming, 3D modeling, animation, UX, visualization and game development while creating interactive projects and portfolios using industry-standard tools.

Sometimes, we need help to discover our potential. After years of serving his country in the infantry, Refa Tomy Mukendi’s Army career ended with a medical discharge. He believed his options were limited.
But five years after a chance meeting with a college recruiter, Mukendi graduated from Purdue’s online Master of Science in Engineering Technology program in December 2025.
Now, a database engineer with J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Mukendi is on track to complete Purdue’s online Doctor of Technology program in 2027
