The Purdue Women's Club was established on March 16, 1922 as a social organization for faculty wives and female faculty members. Today, the Purdue Women's Club has broadened its focus and opened membership to all women in the community who have an interest in Purdue University and the greater Lafayette area. PWC is an officially recognized organization of Purdue University and is a member of the Conference of Big Ten Women's Organizations.

Educational Excursions traveled to Muncie on September 17 to visit several locations on the Ball State campus. The Rinard Orchid Greenhouse, the planetarium, and the Owsley Museum of Art were highlights. Karin Pinto and Yvonne Whelan are co-chairs of the group.

The Fall Luncheon and Interest Fair was held at Gathering Acres Event Center. Event Chairman was Mary Hancock and President Carol Warner presided. Chief Justice of the Indiana Supreme Court Loretta Rush served as the speaker. Melinda Bain, PWC Scholarship Liaison, presented information concerning the Community Fund Endowment to benefit nontraditional students.

Wine Divas met at McGraws with a new set of wines chosen by Courtney from the Southern Hemisphere. Her selections were excellent as were the snacks. The day was beautiful and members enjoyed the afternoon.
