This week, in our Writing Center Spotlight series, ECWCA is highlighting the Writing Lab at Purdue University. They are known for their connection to the Purdue OWL, and they were the host of ECWCA's annual conference in 2023.
We love this quote from Director Harry Denny:
"Research indicates that students who seek out help or make learning connections on campus have better experiences in college, better GPAs, and better graduations rates. All writers who collaborate do better."

The ECWCA Outreach Committee is excited to announce the text that they selected for the Spring 2024 session of the ECWCA Book Club.
We hope you will join us to read and discuss "Writing Centers and Racial Justice: A Guidebook for Critical Praxis," edited by Talisha Haltiwanger Morrison and Deidre Anne Evans Garriott.
As with the fall semester, the spring Book Club will meet over Zoom at several different times to accommodate busy academic schedules.
Meeting dates and times will be announced soon -- stay tuned for details!
