Purdue Turf

The Pest Management and Lawn Maintenance workshop will be held October 6-7, 2021. It is a two-day, hands-on program designed to introduce lawn care operators to the fundamentals of turfgrass growth, fertility, and w**d management, and the use and calibration of application equipment. Participation in the workshop meets the State Chemist’s lawn care experience requirement towards certification in Category 3b. Mandatory attendance is required both days, cost is $200. The Purdue Turf and Landscape Field Day will be online this year. The format will be as follows:
• Sixteen different 15 minute, CCH earning, professional quality videos will be delivered by Purdue faculty/staff/students.
• Registered attendees can choose which presentations to watch and earn credits based on your interests, though all videos will be available to watch.
• Attendees will have one week (July 14-20) to watch the presentations at their convenience.
• Speakers will address attendee questions via email and a live Q&A session on July 21 at 10 am EST.
