Additionally, we would like to congratulate two of our officers, Ana and Charlie, for winning the Wood Award! An extra congratulations goes out to Charlie for being the Burke Award winner, which goes out to the student graduating with the highest cumulative GPA! Some amazing achievements by our officers!

The second pledge coordinator we would like to introduce for our chapter is Cece Maginot, who is emphasising in structures! She was busy this summer with conducting research through Purdue's Bowen Laboratory and was also a structural engineering intern at Enspect Inc. In this image, Cece was inspecting a nearly completed school that Enspect Inc. did the structural design for. In her free time, she enjoys taking walks and playing tennis!

Today, we would also like to introduce two of our pledge coordinators! First, we would like to introduce Michelle He, a structures emphasis here at Purdue.
Although Michelle’s internship with Moss and Associates got canceled this summer, she decided to jump into Law. She ended up spending most of her Summer studying for the LSAT, playing with her dog, and going on hikes.
A fun fact about Michelle is that she has lived on an island her whole life and has never seen the mainland US until college!

We would like to introduce the Webmaster for our chapter, Jaguar Zhu! Jaguar is a transportation emphasis here at Purdue. The second two photos are images of the fieldwork being done when he was a field intern with INDOT in the summer of 2018.
This past summer, Jaguar was a bridge engineer intern with Janssen and Spaans Engineering in Indianapolis, IN. Outside of classes, he is involved with Purdue Bands and Orchestras as a percussionist!

Today, we will introduce our social chair, Nicky Benedict! Nicky is a construction emphasis here at Purdue. Something interesting he did this summer was that he went hiking at the Rocky Mountains and Zion National Park! A fun fact about Nicky was that he was named after the twins Nicky & Alex in the show Full House!

Today, we would like to introduce the Marshal for our chapter, Alexandra Gray! Alexandra is a Structural emphasis here at Purdue. In these photos, you can see that she has worked as a field intern with American Structurepoint, and she has done so for the past two summers! Alexandra worked on a roadway project in Bloomington, Indiana in her first summer and worked on a water main installation project in Evansville this past summer.
Besides her internship, some interesting things she did this summer included working on a bunch of puzzles that were around 1,000 to 2,000 pieces each, and participated in the 2020 Global Pokemon Go Fest! Additionally, Alexandra got an Instant pot a few weeks ago and has started making chicken wings with it!

Today, we will introduce our treasurer, Ana Zanza! Ana is a transportation emphasis here at Purdue. Something interesting she did this summer was that she had an internship at HNTB! A fun fact about Ana is that she was born in Serbia!

Next up, we will introduce our secretary, Charlie Kerby! Charlie is a structures emphasis here at Purdue. Something interesting he did this summer was that he worked on the construction and scheduling of a Telescope at the South Pole for Argonne National Lab.
A fun fact about Charlie is that he lived in France when he was 10 years old. Additionally, he painted the canvas in the background of the photo when he was only 6 years old and considers it abstract art!

We would like to kick off our 2020 - 2021 school year by introducing members of our chapter board this week! Everyone is working hard to make this unique semester go by as smoothly as possible, and we would like to start off by introducing our Amanda Lefebvre, our Chapter President! Amanda is a structures emphasis here at Purdue. Something interesting she did this summer was that she participated in a virtual internship with Bechtel!
Outside of class, Amanda has been involved with Engineers Without Borders for over three years. The organization is in a 5 year partnership with Colquechata, Bolivia to complete a water distribution system. In the second picture, she was in Bolivia surveying at an elevation of nearly 14,000 ft.
A fun fact about her is that she has gone skydiving, as shown in the final picture!
