Dr. Jeff Lucas and Dr. Andrea Kasinski are being celebrated with the Graduate Student Mentoring Award.

Dr. Lucas is being recognized for genuinely caring about students' wellbeing and professional development. He helps students develop dissertation research that reflect their career goals, and helps graduate students become well-rounded scientists.

Dr. Kasinski is honored for her outstanding work in response to key needs of the graduate program, creating an updated website, online handbook, and overhauling the new graduate student orientation to make it more time-effective and pertinent to students' needs and interests.

Thank you Dr. Lucas and Dr. Kasinski for all you do to better the department and our students!
