PHPR Challenge for Purdue Day of Giving!
To support the incredible work of our Department of Pharmacy Practice, I’m launching a personal PHPR Challenge: I will match gifts to Pharmacy Practice dollar-for-dollar up to a total of $2,026. Our department advances patient care, pharmacy education, research, community partnerships, and the next generation of Boilermaker pharmacists. Every gift—large or small—helps strengthen that mission. Make your gift today through Purdue Day of Giving and designate it to the Department of Pharmacy Practice. Dr. Monica Miller, PharmD, MS and Dr. Kellie Jones Weddle have been inducted as Distinguished Fellows of the National Academies of Practice (NAP) in the Pharmacy Academy during the organization’s Annual Induction Banquet and Awards Ceremony held on March 14, 2026 in Indianapolis. This significant professional honor recognizes individuals who have excelled in their profession and demonstrated a sustained commitment to advancing interprofessional education, scholarship, research, practice, and policy in support of team-based healthcare. These inductions lead to PHPR having six faculty members who have been elected as Fellows of the National Academies of Practice (FNAP) and highlights the department’s national leadership in advancing interprofessional healthcare and pharmacy practice. Congratulations to Dr. Miller and Dr. Jones Weddle!
