PALDT invites to participate in the Purdue Day of Giving, an online-based annual fund-raising event. This year’s event takes place next week Wednesday, on April 26th. For 24 hours, students, alumni, faculty and staff, parents, retirees, and friends can make donations to their favorite units (campus, college, school, program, or student organization).

You can also participate in various challenges that can earn additional bonus funds for PALDT. PALDT depends on donations and grants to run its activities, so your donations, no matter how little, will go a long way.

Donations can be made by clicking on the “Donate” or “Give Now,” buttons on the Purdue day of giving website. You can find the list of hourly challenges that can help PALDT earn more bonus points.

TOMORROW IS THE DAY!

Earlier this semester - PALDT held a field trip to Purdue’s Envision Center for those interested in VR/AR. The Envision Center uses computer graphics, advanced visualization, auditory (sound), haptic (touch), and multimodal interaction to integrate with state-of-the-art high performance computation to assist researchers.

Did you know? PALDT held an event for invited speaker, Dr. Charles Reigeluth? Dr. Reigeluth is best known for his work on paradigm change in public education, the design of high quality instruction, and the design of technology systems for the learner-centered paradigms of education.
