On behalf of all of our staff, we want to wish you a restful and relaxing summer! We have had such a great school year because of our wonderful school community!

Every year, our art teacher selects outstanding pieces to be framed and displayed in our hallways. This has been a tradition since 1999. This morning, we celebrated two artists and their art. Congratulations to Sammie and Lola!

We are blessed to have Kat leading our cafeteria! She is amazing!

So proud to recognize our Hospitality Hero this year as our Burnett Creek Elementary manager—Kat Hogan! ✨

Kat stepped into her role as a newer manager and has truly exceeded every expectation. Over this past year, she has grown tremendously—building confidence, strengthening her leadership, and consistently showing up with a positive, solution-focused attitude that lifts everyone around her.

Her dedication to her team, her willingness to jump in wherever needed, and her genuine care for the people she serves have not gone unnoticed. She has made such a meaningful impact at Burnett Creek, and it has been incredible to watch her development and success throughout the year.

This recognition is so well-deserved. Kat is a true example of hard work, heart, and growth in action. We are beyond grateful for everything she brings to our team—congratulations on an outstanding year! 👏🌟

We had an amazing time Tuesday night celebrating an amazing group of 5th graders! Congratulations to our two John W. Wilkinson award winners. This award has been given out annually at BCE since 2004. It is a character and integrity award given to two fifth grade students who continually exhibit our lifelines and our school model of "Do the Right Thing, Treat People Right." It is our highest honor. Congratulations Madeline and Giselle!

The weather cooperated and made one of our favorite traditions a huge success! There is no better community than a school community!
