We have a business meeting on Mondays at 8:00pm in STEW 204 or 311, with the Madrigali singing at 7pm (in the same room). Fighter practice (heavy & rapier) is in the armory from 8-10pm. If you are interested in other activities, contact the club president (or come to the business meeting). The Medieval Society is closely associated with the local branch of the Society of Creative Anachronism (SCA), and thanks to their help we have an environment that is ideal for students to learn and explore their interest in various activities from the Middle Ages. We are also friends of Amtgard, Misty Hollow is our local park. The Shire of Misty Hollow is an Amtgard group we meet in West Lafayette, IN every Sunday at Tapawingo Park around 12:30pm. The address for the Parking Lot is 365 Brown St West Lafayette, IN. We are a LARP (Live Action Role-playing) and medieval combat boffer group. There is no cost to play the game. Amtgard is a not-for-profit organization. We have arts and craft competitions, tournaments, fight monsters, a political system, and large camping events with hundreds of people.
