Senior Spotlight: Victoria Gallardo!
As graduation approaches, we’re celebrating our seniors and all the love, leadership, and heart they have brought to BWC.
Post-grad plans or something you’re excited to do/travel after graduation:
“After graduation, I will be starting my career with Enterprise as a Management Trainee. I am excited to step into this role, build meaningful connections, and continue developing my professional skills. Beyond work, I am also looking forward to traveling and establishing a new routine as I transition into this next chapter.”
How has BWC impacted your college experience?
“Throughout my time at Purdue, BWC has had a meaningful impact on my college experience by providing me with opportunities to build both professional and personal relationships that will last beyond graduation. More than the organization itself, it is the people I have met along the way who have helped me grow more confident in a large environment like Purdue, find my community, and recognize my strengths. BWC has given me a sense of belonging where I do not feel pressured to be perfect, but instead encouraged to be myself and ask for help when I need it.”
Favorite BWC memories?
“Some of my favorite BWC memories have come from social events such as the annual Monarch Conference, Cara Putman’s tea party, Spring Fest, and the Confident Transitions program. Through the Confident Transitions program, I had the opportunity to connect with seniors I had never met before, which made the experience even more meaningful. These events not only allowed me to build new relationships but also created a strong sense of community that made my time in BWC so memorable.”
We are so grateful for everything Victoria has poured into BWC and can’t wait to cheer her on in this next chapter.
Congratulations!

Introducing our April Woman of the Month: Sydney Muller!
Sydney is a junior double majoring in Marketing and Public Relations. She currently serves as Chapter President of Collegiate DECA, where she plays a key role in leading and growing the organization while creating opportunities for students to get involved and succeed. Here’s what she has to say about her journey:
“One accomplishment I am most proud of is serving as the current Chapter President of Collegiate DECA and helping lead our chapter to earn the Indiana DECA Chapter of the Year award! It has been so rewarding to see the growth of our entire DECA team throughout our first two years on campus. I am so grateful to be supported by a great team and great members to create opportunities that allow students to get involved, build confidence, and succeed.
My advice for incoming students is to get involved early and often. The clubs and organizations I've been a part of have accelerated my learning, given me access to grow my leadership skills, helped me to build my community, and have truly made my time at Purdue special. Purdue makes it so easy to get involved with so many great programs, like BWC, to help you grow and find your people.”
We’re so proud to celebrate Sydney and the leadership, dedication, and positive impact she brings to her community. Her commitment to creating opportunities and empowering others truly makes a difference both within DECA and across campus!🖤💛

Introducing our March Woman of the Month: Isabella Hess!
Isabella is a junior studying Business Management. She serves as our current Outreach Chair, where she is dedicated to strengthening connections within the BWC community and expanding its impact across campus and reaching prospective students. Through her role, she works to foster meaningful relationships, create engaging opportunities, and ensure that every member feels welcomed, supported, and empowered. Here’s what she has to say about her journey:
“The incredible Brock-Wilson Center community has been, by far, my biggest source of motivation as I’ve pushed myself toward new goals. I feel so grateful to be part of a space where I know I have a family cheering me on through both challenges and successes. No matter what I’m working toward, there are always people encouraging me to do my best and celebrating even the smallest accomplishments along the way. This kind of support is truly special and rare. My hope is that every BWC Ambassador feels the same sense of belonging with a community that shows up for them, supports them unconditionally, and empowers them to grow into their fullest potential.
College can feel intimidating at first, but it’s also an incredible time for self-discovery and growth. Coming to Purdue is a remarkable achievement, and from the moment you arrive, you’re surrounded by a community of staff, faculty, and students who genuinely want to see you succeed. Even when unexpected challenges arise, you’ll find determined, compassionate people ready to help you access the resources you need to feel confident, supported, and seen. The Brock-Wilson Center is a shining example of that support by offering guidance, encouragement, and opportunities that can truly shape your college experience in meaningful ways. At Purdue, there is truly something for everyone, and you are never alone in your journey.”
We’re so proud to celebrate Isabella and the heart, passion, and leadership she brings to the Daniels community. Her dedication to uplifting others truly makes BWC a stronger and more connected space for everyone!🖤💛
