Purdue graduates, Madeline and Kayla, are finishing up their last week with the arboretum. They've been a major part of the team since 2023. Installing this Purdue Hardy sign means a lot. This tree the Purdue Arboretum emblem as it represents the resilience and grit that boilermakers are known for. Come see this sign and learn about this tree's story across the street from Lyles Porter Hall.

Don't miss out on the Japanese Tree Lilac (Syringa reticulata) flowers in Horticulture Park! This tree will soon be in full bloom producing large white panicles of sweet-smelling flowers! ✨

New intern alert! 🚨 Sarah will be helping out with our ongoing maintenance efforts at Horticulture Park. We will be pruning, trimming, and more. The orange flags represent locations for new trees! In addition to maintenance we will be having a future tree planting!

Showing the new arboretum employee around! Our new summer intern Eli explored the Horticulture Park yew hedge. Inside this hedge the branches of different plants have fused together a natural phenomenon called inosculation!
