We’ve had such a fun time hosting tours out at Horticulture Park for high schoolers and grad students. Pointing out our favorite plantings, talking wildlife habitat, and sharing the biodiversity of our park with possible future outdoor majors has been a highlight!

Bumblebees are critical pollinators for both wild plants and agriculture crops. They are a big help in maintaining plant diversity, supporting food webs, and helping to ensure the reproduction of many species. 🐝 🌺
Meet Franny, one of our favorite regular visitors here at Horticulture Park! 🦌✨ We are so lucky to share our space with her and her three adorable babies, who you can spot out and about on the daily, taking family walks and chowing down in the woods. Franny is getting more and more used to our community and is incredibly approachable, but remember to always give her a respectful wave from a safe distance. Next time you’re out here for a stroll, make sure to keep an eye out for this sweet family! 💚
