Is anyone on this Facebook group still a Purdue student? I'm interested in helping to get this re-started, possibly in the spring semester. Alas, I'm just staff, not a student. -Oesten

I particularly like how they point out that adults are able to stop and take a break whenever they want but children are not allowed to do so...

It is getting about the time to have elections for new officers. In order to do that, we first need candidates! Feel free to nominate yourself or other members that you think may be good in one of the officer positions: President, Treasurer or Secretary. Nominees will be contacted in the near future to verify their intent/agreement to run for the position and will be asked to submit a brief statement no less than one week prior to the voting. The voting will take place online, using Qualtrics. The term of office is one year to run from May to May.
In order to be an officer, candidates must be Purdue students in good standing. Purdue requires each student organization have at least a president and treasurer to remain in good standing so consider running for these positions.
If you have any questions, please contact me, Ron, and I will do my best to answer them.
I will be graduating sometime in the next 12 months (whenever I finish my dissertation) so will not be able to be the president, again. Plus, it is about time we get some new blood in here to get things going!!
