On February 13th we lost one of the greats. Howard Doster had a deep passion for teaching and brought his love for agriculture to life inside the walls of Purdue University classrooms. Not only was Howard devoted to increasing the quality of learning on campus, he also set ambitious goals to co-author a national or regional article every month. It was this same passion and tenacity that Howard Doster brought with him every year to the Doster Leadership Conference. He was a great storyteller and had a knack for personally touching those around him, even if they had just met Howard. Howard Doster gave so much to the conference, Purdue, and the world of agriculture and he will be deeply missed.
