It’s kickoff time for the Hillel Big Ten Challenge!
For the next 72 hours, we invite you to make a gift to this special campaign and support Jewish Boilermakers at Purdue! Thanks to a group of generous donors all gifts made during this campaign will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, up to $27,500 for the whole campaign.
Since the start of the semester, Hillel has made a giant impact, hosting over 400 of students for Shabbat and High Holidays and welcoming students to scores of social, ritual, worship, Jewish learning, and social justice programs. We’ve started strong AND we need your help to fuel impact for the rest of the semester! We saw our largest Bagel Break ever on the second day of Rosh Hashanah, with more than 125 students joining us in the building!
With over 50,000 Jewish students on Big Ten campuses today and hundreds of thousands of Jewish alumni, parents, grandparents, and community members, we hope you’ll help us create a rising tide that lifts Jewish life on all campuses by donating now.

Next week is the 3rd annual Hillel Big Ten Challenge, a fundraising campaign that brings together Big Ten Hillels in a 72-hour digital campaign next Monday to Wednesday, October 24-26! 💛🖤💛 Last year, we raised more than $17,000 to support critical programs at Purdue Hillel including Shabbat and Holiday Worship, weekly Bagel Breaks, Ukrainian relief efforts, and the Jewish Learning Fellowship. This year, we’re aiming to raise over $50,000 to grow those same critical programs and more. During this campaign, all gifts will be matched, dollar-for-dollar up to $27,500, thanks to the generosity of a group of committed Purdue Hillel supporters, with a lead gift from inaugural Purdue Hillel Board Chair Judy Weitzman, in memory of Leo Weitzman, z”l.
