The OIGP Ambassadors are student leaders who represent their Interdisciplinary Graduate Programs and help promote and support the Office of Interdisciplinary Graduate Programs. They serve as representatives of our office and help us engage with the larger campus community and within our associated interdisciplinary programs. Today we’re highlighting our ambassador, Shivika Aggrawal. Shivika is in her 3rd year of her Ph.D. program in Interdisciplinary Ecological Sciences & Engineering.
“I am a PhD student in the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture. I am proudly affiliated with the Interdisciplinary Ecological Sciences and Engineering (IESE) Program since August 2023. I love the program for so many reasons that it is difficult to pinpoint just one, but at the heart of it is the breadth of knowledge, experiences, and understanding it has opened up for me.”

A study led by PULSe faculty member James Dooley, maps how rapid eye movement (REM) sleep evolves across early development.
