🎉🐾 Goodbye, 6th Grade Coyotes! 🐾🎉

What a memorable way to celebrate our amazing 6th graders on their last day at Copper Canyon! Before their annual clap out, our students and teachers faced off in a fun and exciting game of Capture the Can. After lots of teamwork, laughter, and friendly competition, the game ended in a 2-2 tie! What a perfect example of how Copper Canyon Coyotes know how to Work Hard and Play Hard!

We then lined the halls for our annual 6th Grade Clap Out, celebrating all of the accomplishments, hard work, growth, and memories our students have made during their time at Copper Canyon. We are so proud of each and every one of them and all they have achieved.

To our 6th graders: thank you for being an important part of our Copper Canyon family. We wish you a summer filled with fun, adventure, and relaxation, and an incredible start to your middle school journey. We know you will continue to do great things!

The event was a huge success and gave our students the opportunity to showcase their incredible creativity and artistic talents in so many different ways. From colorful paintings to unique creations, it was amazing to see the hard work and imagination of our students on display for everyone to enjoy.

This week was full of fun surprises, thoughtful treats, amazing decorations, and so much love shown to our teachers and staff. From the creative themes to the unforgettable treat deliveries in the Barbie car with music playing, every detail made our staff feel appreciated and celebrated! 🎀🚗🎶

A very special shoutout to Katie Gardiner for being the creative mind and lead behind it all. Your hard work, organization, and attention to every little detail did not go unnoticed. Thank you for making sure every teacher and staff member felt seen, valued, and special this week.

Today was such a special day for our 5th grade team at Copper Canyon Elementary!

A huge congratulations to Miss Ferguson for being recognized by Western Governors University as an Outstanding Mentor Teacher! We are so proud of the impact she makes each and every day through her leadership, dedication, and love for students. What a well-deserved surprise and honor!

Our 5th graders also celebrated their annual DARE Graduation! Over the past several weeks, students have been learning valuable life skills, decision-making strategies, and the importance of making safe and healthy choices with Officer Petersen. Today’s graduation was a fun and meaningful way to celebrate all their hard work and accomplishments.

The day was full of excitement, creativity, and plenty of suspense as our students put their designs to the test. From start to finish, the energy was high and the smiles were even bigger!

We’re proud to share that everyone walked away a winner—each participant received a prize, making it a truly inclusive and joyful experience for all. 💛

This month’s Lunch with the Principal was a special one! 🎉

Our students had the opportunity to enjoy lunch with Principal Nixon, celebrating their hard work, positive choices, and dedication to being great leaders on campus. They enjoyed a Happy Meal and played games together, making it a fun and memorable experience filled with smiles and laughter.
