This is not a typical job, here at ABC Great Beginnings, you will be paid to play. Although ensuring the safety of the kids and teaching them lessons each day are still a required part of the daily routine. Helping them learn and develop through guided play is rewarding for both you and the children.
Pay and Benefits.
· Pay: Our payrates are competitive with the industry, and there are opportunities for bonuses and pay increases throughout the year. The payrate is dependent on experience and other factors, based on each individual applicant. (Child Care needs, full or part time, shift availability, etc.) We also offer paid holiday and accrued Paid Time Off.
Benefits and Perks:
· Reduced or Free Childcare: ABC Great Beginnings offers reduced Childcare, depending on the age of your child. Rates will be negotiated during the hiring process.
· Free Meals – Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided, and teachers are encouraged to eat with the children to teach proper etiquette and manners and to be able to have open discussions about food groups, nutrition, etc.
· Health Benefits – We have multiple Health Plan options including comprehensive health coverage, accident plans, Medallus Urgent & Primary Care memberships, dental savings plans.
· No Evenings or Weekend Shifts: All but 2 of our centers are closed evenings and weekends. Most centers close by 6:30 or 7:00 each night
· Flexible Schedules: We have consistent schedules and can be flexible working around other obligations like school, family needs, etc.
· Training and Support: Your initial training is paid and more than doubles state requirements. We encourage and support ongoing education, and in many situations provide tuition assistance.
ADDITONAL INFORMATION
· Be at least 16 years of age or older
· Love Children - previous experience is preferred but not necessary.
· Be able to get along and respect clients, children, and other teammates
· Be able to acquire a CPR/ First Aid certification if needed and a food handlers permit
· Be able to pass a background and Fingerprint screen and drug screen.

All children, staff, visitors and clients must take their temperature upon entry each day. Masks are currently mandated for unvaccinated staff and clients. Additional daily sanitizing and cleaning procedures are in place.
