We are so excited for Multicultural Night tonight! It will be from 5:30-7pm in the area behind the school. We will have food trucks, singing, dancing, and booths to enjoy! Don't forget to bring a blanket/chair to view the performances. Students must be accompanied by an adult.

Here are just SOME of the people who are making this event/week possible: Calle Food Truck, Kiwi Conz, Donut Kabobs, An Dragan Irish Dancers, Red Butte Garden, This is the Place, and Dowdle Puzzles. Thank you to them and to ALL of our volunteers who will be sharing their culture with us tonight!

Multicultural Week is coming up next week! 🌎

This is a chance for us to learn more about our amazing world and the people and places in it! Students will take home a bingo card with different activities that they can complete. Each student who turns in a completed bingo card will get a small prize and be put into a drawing!

We hope that you will also join us for our Multicultural Night on Thursday, October 15th from 5:30-7pm at the back of the school. We will have food trucks, booths, and performances!

What does your culture mean to you? ❤️
Maybe it’s a family tradition. A favorite food. A song your grandparents love. A language, holiday, place, story, dance, or memory that makes you who you are.

Reflections is your chance to turn that idea into art! 🎨🎶📸💃📖

And it doesn’t have to be complicated. Students can:

📸 Take a quick photo
🎵 Plunk out a brand-new melody on an instrument
💃 Create a short dance
🎥 Film a friend or family member
✍️ Write a poem or short story
🧱 Sculpt or build something
🎨 Draw or paint an amazing picture
This year’s theme is “What My Culture Means to Me.”

Every student who participates gets a FREE Menchie’s frozen yogurt! 🍦

So encourage your child to give it a try—even a simple idea can become something wonderful.

Next week (October 7th) we will be having a Walk, Bike, & Roll to School Day!

We are encouraging students and parents to join 🚶‍♀️🚲🛴

Not driving to school has many benefits including more physical activity, less traffic congestion, and a sense of responsibility! (www.walkbiketoschool.org)

Thank you for coming to our awesome Family Fun Night!
It was a total 💥 blast!
We made it to our $10,000 goal! 🎉
