📌 QUICK CAMPUS REMINDERS

🚪 Morning Arrival: Doors open at 7:40 AM. Please time drop-offs accordingly, as students cannot enter the building earlier.

🥪 Food & Drinks: Packed lunches and reusable water bottles are great! Fast food/restaurant takeout bags or branded cups are not permitted in the building—please finish takeout items before coming inside.

💻 Chromebook Checkout: Complete the user agreement in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal (signed by both parent and student) and clear annual school fees via School Cash on our website so Chromebooks can go home!

🚨 IMPORTANT ACHS UPDATE: Electronic Forms & Chromebook Take-Home 🚨

Attention, Parents & Guardians! Please complete the following steps as soon as possible:

📋 All Forms Are Electronic: Medical, bus, code of conduct, and Chromebook forms must all be signed online via Infinite Campus.

🔑 Use Parent Portal Only: Forms MUST be submitted through a Parent Portal account (student portal submissions will not work).

💻 Chromebook Policy: Students cannot take Chromebooks home until the parent/guardian and student consent forms are submitted.

💳 Pay Fees Online: Visit the ACHS website and click "School Cash" to pay school fees.

📧 Need Help? If you cannot access your Parent Portal, complete the short google form by visiting the ACHS website.

🎒 Welcome Back, Husky Family!

We are so excited to kick off the 2026–2027 school year at ACHS! We can't wait to welcome our students back and build on all the incredible success from last year.

As we get ready for day one, here are a few important updates and reminders to help make the transition smooth for everyone:

⏰ Morning Entry

Front doors open at 7:40 AM. Students dropped off prior to 7:40 AM will not be able to enter the building, so please plan your morning drop-offs accordingly!

🥤 Outside Food & Drinks

Lunch from Home: Students are absolutely welcome to pack and bring their lunch from home!

No Restaurant Takeout: Food and drinks from local restaurants (in branded packaging or cups) are not permitted in the building. Any restaurant food or takeout drinks must be finished before entering school.

Water Bottles: Students are still encouraged to bring their favorite reusable water bottles and tumblers!

💳 School Fees

School fees for the 26–27 school year are posted! You can access and pay them by visiting our school website and clicking on School Cash.

💻 Chromebook Agreements

Chromebook user agreement forms are now online in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

Note: Both a parent and student must agree to the form online, and all school fees must be paid before a Chromebook can be sent home.

📱 First Day & Phone Policy Reminders

Monday: All students report directly to their homeroom first, where they will receive their Yondr pouches.

Phone Rules: State law and Ashe County School policy prohibit phone use during the school day.

Monday: Phones must be powered off and kept out of sight upon entering.

Beginning Tuesday: Phones must be powered off and locked in Yondr pouches upon entering the building.

Please note: Any phones collected by staff must be picked up in person by a parent or guardian.

📢 Schedule Reminder:

If you have already reached out to Student Services about a schedule concern through email, Remind, or the Google Form, please be patient as we work through each request.

There is no need to send multiple messages or report to Student Services first thing in the morning. Go to homeroom as scheduled! If your schedule changes, we will contact you by email or call you to the office. Your school counselors appreciate your patience!
