This was our 3rd annual trip to the New River State Park Wagoner Access to help out with the invasion of Japanese stiltgrass. Our students worked extra hard to beat our goal from last year and they were successful! There were a total of 157 bags and 2,323.6 lbs of stiltgrass pulled! Way to go guys! We had a picnic lunch, played yard games, splashed in the river, and lots of fun conversations were had throughout the day! Our first Flex Friday this year was amazing!

We enjoyed our Senior Sunrise this morning!! We had breakfast, coffee from Revelation Coffee Co, yard games, and lots of laughter! Thanks to everyone that came!!

Today we had a guest speaker from Marshall University in West Virginia to come speak to our students about some great opportunities that they offer there! She also brought some college swag with her! 💚

We wrapped up our first week back to school and it was a really great one!!! As you can tell, our students had an awesome day on Thursday by celebrating pizza with the president and they enjoyed some fun games too! Thank you to WCC for planning a great event!

Graydon S. is a rising senior at AECHS.
In May, Graydon was selected to participate in the WCC Commencement Ceremonies as a Junior Marshal. AECHS is proud of Graydon and his hard work to achieve this accomplishment!
