Meet your trainer: Elle!
Elle was born and raised in Sydney, Australia and has been living in the US for the past 8 years. She is a Musical Theatre Performer and Choreographer as well as a Certified Personal Trainer!
In the fitness world, Elle started her training journey at the inaugural F45 studio in New York City, and has built her own online training business. Elle is so happy to be an OG member of the Alter training family, and brings all of her past experience and expertise from her fitness coaching background to her classes here at Alter. She is passionate about helping her clients build healthy, realistic and long-lasting habits with friendly and dedicated mentorship!
When she’s not on the road for a musical theater performance, you can catch her for classes right here at Alter! Keep a look out for her name on the schedule. She can’t wait to have you in class!

Do you prioritize regeneration as much as you focus on your training?
As one of the three main pillars of Alter’s coaching philosophy (outside of physical fitness and nutrition), we believe regeneration is just as vital as all the other pieces. In order to reap the most rewards from training, our body has to be healthy, mobile, and functioning well.

Revamped and reimagined!
Our Alter Bootcamp underwent a little facelift recently, from minor changes in the class format, to big changes in programming! Designed to be a 30 day, full-body transformation, the Bootcamp alternates between strength and conditioning weeks, with consistent rotation between muscle groups to reduce the risk of overtraining or overuse. ‼️ UPDATE ‼️ Basement gym back in action!
We are pleased to announce that the basement gym is back to regular operations! We will temporarily keep the Sky Gym closed while we allow equipment to dry.
We encourage you to assess conditions in your area, and proceed with caution where necessary, but if the roads are safe we’d be more than happy to see you at the club today!

‼️ CLOSURE NOTICE ‼️
Due to the inclement weather and some unexpected flooding in the basement, the basement gym is unfortunately closed until further notice.
Morning group fitness classes have also been cancelled due to conditions.
We plan to have staff assess conditions in the morning, and will resume operations when we believe our facilities are safe to reopen.
We appreciate your patience and understanding, and will keep you informed with updates.

Here at Alter we believe in diversity in your training. Building a strong body and mind, inside and out, involves keeping the body strong, stable, powerful, and flexible (just to name a few), which is why we offer a range of training formats, including yoga.
Come join our fabulous instructor every Monday and Friday afternoon at 12pm (or use your personal training credits to book a private for a more personalized experience) and begin reaping the benefits of yoga! Happy hump day, Alter!
We hope you’re staying cool out there in this heat wave. If you’re enjoying some sunshine up at the Sky Gym, make sure to stay hydrated and don’t forget your SPF (complimentary sunscreen can be found in the locker rooms and at the entrance to the rooftop). If heated workouts aren’t quite your thing, head down to the basement to escape the heat while you get that pump 💪🏽
