Writing recap of 3rd Grade’s field trip to Glendale Community College, where they go to meet their pen pals, who they’ve been writing to since the beginning of the school year!

In 7th Accelerated Math, students had fun with some reinforcement practice by multiplying and dividing monomials. On this fun reinforcement day, students had to try to "escape the classroom" by simplifying monomials to solve puzzles. As they solved each puzzle, they unlocked a new level. Many students reached the final level, but only two were able to escape the classroom early! Congrats to Matthew and Sherwin who were able to make their "escape" before time ran out!

It was all about pumpkins in 4th Grade STEM. 🧡 Students got to compete in Mrs. Fiske's "Pumpkin Carnival" using their hand-engineered pumpkin catapults. Later, they constructed a device to harvest pumpkins and competed against the clock to move the pumpkins from the patch to the crate.

3rd Grade finished their Native American studies on Friday with some fun Native American Centers!!! We're SO thankful to Mrs. Rawlinson, Mrs. Dworsky, Mrs. Wolf, Mrs. Fiske, Mrs. Moshiri, and Miss Stella for their help with starting our Navajo weaving, sand art projects, and starting our Thanksgiving hearts.
