NE-1 District Convention 2020

Hi everyone,

I want to thank Dr. AnnMarie Dellipizzi, the Biology Department, and Dominican College for the time and effort they put in to prepare for the 2020 NE-1 District Convention in Rockland County, NY. Unfortunately, as you all know, the event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has also forced us to hold our 2021 District Convention virtually. Please see our event post for those details, which is graciously hosted on Zoom by the Biology Department and TriBeta chapter of Elmira College.

We are still uncertain about the 2022 NE-! Convention but we do need a host institution to step up whether it will be virtually or in person. And 2023 will be here before realize it so it is never to early to lock in a host for then.

There is a small stipend from the national office to help finance the event. If you are interested in hosting, please contact [email protected]

NE-1 District Convention 2019

Hi everyone,

Hope you all are enjoying your summer vacation. I want to thank Dr. AnnMarie Dellipizzi, the Biology Department, and Dominican College for stepping up to host the 2021 NE-1 District Convention in Rockland County, NY.

We do not as yet have a firm offer for our 2019 or 2020 conventions. Obviously 2019 is the most pressing as it does take time to prepare. There is a small stipend from the national office to help finance the event. If you are interested in hosting, please contact tribetane1@gmail,com
