Happy almost start to the school year, Chargers! We are counting down the days until we get to welcome you all back into the David A. Beckerman Recreation Center! Starting off this exciting first semester back, you know what that means... the start of our Fall 2026 Group X Classes!!! We have a bunch of new class times and even new instructors! As hectic as the year can get, no better way to de-stress than with a Group X Class!

Meet our Employee of the Month for June, Arafat Rahman 🎉🎉

Hi everyone, I am Arafat from Bangladesh. I am an undergraduate junior year student completing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Some of my hobbies include playing soccer, piano and harmonium, travelling, and watching tv shows and movies. I love working with each and every one of my colleagues at the ChargerRec and it is a treat to welcome all incoming members. I have made countless lovely memories while working here and this is something that I will be forever grateful for!!

Meet our Employee of the Month for May, Oren Sedelmaier🎉🎉

Hi, I'm Oren. I have worked at the Rec Center for a year and a half. I'm a rising senior working towards a Bachelor's in Sport Management. At the rec, I am an Event Support Specialist and Competitive Sports Assistant. I like working at the rec because everyone is so friendly and works well together.
