Starting preschool is a BIG “yet.” 💛

We may not know yet how the first drop-off will go. We may not know yet if our little one will feel nervous, excited, or a little bit of both. We may not know yet how quickly they’ll make friends, find their favorite activity, or feel at home in their new classroom.

That’s why The Magical Yet is such a beautiful book to read before starting preschool. It reminds children that just because they can’t do something yet doesn’t mean they never will.

Being a preschool teacher is so much more than a job—it is a daily choice to pour a piece of your heart into the world's smallest hands.
Loving a preschooler is a unique kind of magic. It means seeing the entire universe change when they finally learn how to zip their own jacket or tie their shoes. It means holding a tiny hand to give them the courage to leave their mom or dad at the door, knowing you are building a safe space where they truly belong.
To all my preschool families: thank you for trusting DKZ with your greatest treasures. Watching them grow, dream, and discover their confidence is the greatest privilege of our life. They will always be our kids, and we will always be cheering them on. 🍎✨

Today was our chalk fight day! We had so much fun. We had chalk in our hair on our feet and every where else. The kids said we want to do this again 😁. We colored on the sidewalk and even the grass. We will do this again it was a blast what a great way to end SUMMER CAMP.

Using your imagination to build things is so fun. As an educator to watch the kids come to you and say look what I just built a robot or a dinosaur is the best thing to hear. We are having so much fun here at DKZ Kinder Academy this week talking about Summer Fun and all the things the kids liked in Summer Camp this year.
