The Secure and Assured Intelligent Learning (SAIL) lab works toward establishing a concrete foundation for the safety and security of intelligent machines. This pertains both to the theoretical perspective and the development and engineering implementation.
We aspire to research the development of comprehensive models, metrics, frameworks, and tools for analysis, implementation, and mitigation of malicious behaviors of Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems. Dr. Vahid Behzadan leads the team through challenges and new terrain in the field of safety and security for AI.
