Addison was beautiful as Swanhilda and Nola was a very entertaining Dr Coppelius! Looking forward to seeing cast 2 tonight!! Bravo to our 15 dedicated dancers who brought this show to life! What a great culmination of our 6 week ballet intensive! Thank you also to Maddie (the director) and Kenzie and Izzy!

Coppelia on Wednesday August 12th features my 2 beautiful Seniors! Addison will be dancing Swanhilda and Nola will be dancing Dr Coppelius! Please come see this entertaining show featuring our HeartStrings dancers and our special guest artist Nayte Whittaker a talented Senior at Hartt Dance Division at University of Hartford. This production directed by Maddie Baecker is the culmination of our 6 Week summer dance intensive!

I am so excited to see Coppelia… performed at our very own “Tornado Theatre” at RHSB 6 pm August 12th and 13th! Maddie Baecker directed these productions with the help of Mackenzie Mockabee and Izzy Pfleger! I am so proud of all of our beautiful dancers. This video features Lakotah as Swanhilda! (Thursday cast).

One of my favorite parts of summer is teaching this talented young woman! ❤️ Kate is a lovely 20 year old summer student at RHSB! She will soon be starting her junior year at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. She is a Dance major with a minor in Disability Studies, and she lives in Vancouver, Washington. ❤️

Maddie Baecker grew up at Reaching Heart… now she is soon starting her senior year at the University of Hartford’s Hartt School Dance Division! She is pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet Pedagogy. Maddie spent the beginning of her summer dancing in NYC, Kansas City and Rome Italy! Now she is teaching at RHSB and directing Coppelia… which will be performed August 12 and 13! This is an adagio taught by Maddie! ❤️🙌

Week 2 of our Summer Ballet Intensive! ❤️What a joy to have John and Kate Deming from Rochester City Ballet here for 2 weeks! Our students are working hard and improving their technique! Summer is a great time for 🩰 growth!

So happy that back by popular demand… my students will be performing Kingdom of the Shades again in our June 20th recital! This will no doubt be one of many highlights in our end of school year production! So proud of all of these dancers for their hard work and dedication! 🙌 🩰

A mini pas de deux with beautiful Clara and Roy from Alice in Wonderland. Both of these talented dancers are 13year old 7th graders. Clara will attend Boston Ballet’s summer program (for the second year) and Roy will attend Pacific Northwest Ballet’s summer intensive in Seattle! They recently performed in The HeartStrings Dance Company’s performance of Un, Deux, Trois! So proud of both of these dedicated dancers!

Ava (our beautiful Senior) was such a wonderful Alice … In Alice in Wonderland! 👏 Ava will be a Freshman at Boston College in the Fall! We are delighted she will be dancing at RHSB this summer!!
