Vocal Intensive Program - VIP VIP is a ten-day summer program for singers who are ready to grow, connect, take risks, and elevate their artistry in a supportive, collaborative community.

Huge congratulations to VIP faculty member Tavia Rivée Jefferson and VIP '25 singer Dani Calderon!

Last summer at VIP, Tavia encouraged Dani to audition for her production of Rent. This weekend, I got to see Dani make her professional musical theatre debut as Mimi at the Orpheum Theatre in Madison, Wisconsin. Of course, Dani was incredible - and Tavia's brilliant direction made this production feel fresh, relevant, and deeply human. Total full circle moment in the best way!

Congratulations to VIP alumni Spencer Hamlin ’13, Jermaine Woodard Jr. ’13, Omar Sandakly ’19, Alex Hunt ’18 & ’19, Kenneth Galm ’25, alongside Benjamin Rauch (Music Director) on an extraordinary run of ALL IS CALM at Playhouse on Park.

The final week sold out completely, along with an added performance due to popular demand.

What happens at VIP never ends when the program does. You could really feel it throughout this production.
