As our Festival of American Song draws to a close, we invite you to join us for two culminating events that celebrate both the craft and artistry of cabaret performance.

This afternoon, three of our singers will take the stage in a masterclass led by distinguished guest artists Amy Burton and John Musto, offering an in-depth exploration of cabaret style: its nuances, interpretive demands, and enduring place within the vocal literature.

We conclude the festival at 7:30 PM with a concert by Burton and Musto, featuring selections from the Great American Songbook and other American and French cabaret music. This signature showing from Burton and Musto promises to be an electrifying conclusion to our third annual festival.

Congratulations to Sophia Dunn for winning first place, and to Melina Neofitos for winning second place in the lower college classical category at the CT NATS student auditions. The CT chapter auditions were held on Sunday, March 8 at Eastern CT State University. Both Sophia and Melina are students of Dr. Lisabeth Miller. 👏
