From Lola Elliot-Hugh: It is with great sadness that I share the news with you that our 1973 classmate and friend BETH BROWNSTEIN JONES died gently on Thursday July 18, 2024 at her home in San Francisco, CA. Shortly before our 50th class reunion (which she helped plan) Beth was diagnosed with an inoperable cancer. She loved and admired many of you and always talked with fondness about her time at Hall High. I know you join me in wishing her family strength and peace as they cherish her memory- which will always be a blessing.

"Hello, Class of '73 Classmates!
We're now about 6 weeks away from our 50th Reunion and the excitement is building!

RSVPs

We have a preliminary list of those who have confirmed attendance by sending in their payments (via check or Venmo.) To date, 38 are all in, however, 109 classmates and guests have indicated they "MAY" or "WILL" attend, so we need to hear from you! So that we have a firm number which will assist in our planning, we ask that you send in your payments no later than September 23rd. If you are unable to attend, please also let Timothy O'Leary know (e-mail address, below).
Payment in the amount of $90.00 may be made via Venmo or by check made payable to Timothy O'Leary. E-mail him at [email protected] for payment information if you need it.

Photos Needed!

We're starting to collect photos from our time at Hall to include in a slide show at the reunion, so if you have any photos you'd like to share for our slide show, create a .JPG, .JPEG or .PNG file of the photo and email directly to Jim Fell. DM him to get his e-mail address or contact Timothy O'Leary.

If you also have photos from Plant or KP that show you with another classmate that we also graduated with at Hall, send that along, too! Those shots are priceless.

We're just 3 months away from our 50th Reunion, taking place on October 14th, 2023, and are pleased to let you know that we have just over 100 people (classmates and guests) who have indicated they will be attending. We still have room for a handful more, so if you'd like to connect with classmates to reminisce and enjoy an evening together, RSVP to the "Paperless Post" invitation ASAP.

For those of you who plan on coming, it's now time to submit payment to attend. Our per person cost is $90.00. As you know, the price of everything has gone up, and catering and event venues are no exception! We are also paying extra to secure the beautiful deck at the Rockledge Grille that's adjacent to the dining room (the views are amazing at sunset!) as well as costs for other enhancements that will make the evening even more special. A delicious dinner buffet will be served. If you have any dietary requirements, please reply to this email and we'll be sure to accommodate you as best we can.

Payments may be made via Venmo (Timothy-OLeary-60 or [email protected]; last 4 digits of cell: 3316) or by check made payable to Timothy O'Leary (with "50th Reunion" in the memo line) and mailed to Tim at 137 Powder Hill Road, Middlefield, CT 06455.

SAVE THE DATE! Class of 1973 will have our 65th Birthday Reunion celebration Sunday, October 18, 2020 from 11:30am-3:30 pm at the Wampanoag Country Club in West Hartford. There will also be an event on the evening of October 17th. Cost and details will be provided at a later time. If you have not received an email from Timothy O'Leary (the host of our reunion) regarding Save the Date, then please email him at [email protected] to add your name to the distribution list.
