Joshua Fleischmann-West Hartford Drum Lessons Hey folks! I teach drum lessons to kids and adults. My lessons focus on technique, rudiments, styles and repertoire. Kids and adults, 7+ Let's play some drums!!!

Offering drum lessons to students of all abilities and ages 7+. What to expect: Lessons are weekly and can be scheduled for 45 and 60 minute blocks of time. I teach lessons both virtually and in my studio in West Hartford, CT. I adapt lessons to the interest of my students, while also teaching the fundamentals of rudimental and drumset drumming. I strive to include a diverse array of genres in my

lessons, from rock to jazz, top 40 to Motown and hip hop. About Me: I've been performing professionally for over 25 years, most notably with American artist Israel Nash, contributing to a series of records that garnered international acclaim everywhere from NPR and No Depression to Uncut and Mojo. I toured extensively across North America and Europe with Nash, and performed frequently with other artists including Anthony D’Amato and Shilpa Ray and Margaret Chavez. I've been teaching drum lessons for over 30 years, in addition to 10 years teaching music in public and private schools in MA and NYC. Originally from Western Massachusetts, I've recently relocated back to New England along with my wife and two toddlers.

🥁I had such a great time seeing my students perform with the Bristow Middle Schokl Big Band at last weekend. That band sounds incredible! Congrats to the students and teachers who make it happen, well done young musicians!

🥁 This student brought his laptop and recording device so he could record live drums. He’s overdubbing some percussion in this clip. I’m kind of fascinated by the rhythms he’s creating with a shaker and a maraca. Well done!

I love this one shot shaker by it’s one of my favorite shakers, go get one. recommended it years ago, I use it every chance I get!
