Summer Place The University of Hartford’s 4 exciting summer camp programs for children from pre-k to 12th grade Offered in three two week sessions.

The University of Hartford offers five exciting summer camp programs for children from pre-school through twelfth grade. Summer Place provides first through ninth graders the opportunity to create a daily schedule of enrichment courses and athletic activities that reflects their personal interests and talents. Summer Place Leaders In Training (SPLIT) offers an opportunity for tenth and eleventh gr

aders to develop leadership and communication skills. Offered in three two week sessions

Kinderplace for entering kindergartners, and
Li'l Place for preschoolers, are two special programs which combine the fun of camp with appropriate learning experiences. Summer Place Players program offers sixth through twelfth graders professional theater training and performance opportunities in a major musical production. After four weeks of intensive musical theater instruction, the program culminates in five performances of a musical selected in December of each year. Offered in one five week program.
