🍻 Oktoberfest is coming to STA/STM! 🍻

Join us for a fun & festive evening with our STA/STM community on Friday, October 16 at Holy Family Retreat Center from 6:30-9:30pm!

Enjoy a night of German fare, b**r, w**e, specialty drinks, music, fun and plenty of Oktoberfest spirit, all while supporting our school and our students.

🎟️ Tickets
$80 per person
$150 per couple

Your ticket includes dinner, passed appetizers, b**r, w**e, soda, water and coffee.

We'll also have:

🍺 Commemorative Oktoberfest steins
🍹 Specialty drinks
🎟️ $20 raffle tickets—with a chance to win free hot lunch for the entire school year!
🏆 A silent auction featuring fun, one-of-a-kind experiences with our very own STA/STM faculty
👗 A Best Dressed Contest—come in your lederhosen, dirndl or festive Oktoberfest attire, and the winner will receive an extra raffle ticket!

Can't make it? No worries! You can still be part of the fun! Raffle tickets, steins and teacher sponsorships can all be purchased separately right from the QR code on the flyer.

We had perfect weather on Friday for our fun-filled Outdoor Movie Night! Families enjoyed a great movie, plenty of popcorn & treats, and—most importantly—time together as a school community. We’re so grateful to our families, staff, and volunteers who came out and helped to make the night such a special one.

The weather is looking beautiful, so it’s the perfect night to bring the kids, reconnect with old friends, and meet some new ones! 💙

We’ll be watching Ratatouille under the evening sky, with plenty of movie-night favorites to enjoy:

Our 5th graders were clapped out of school on their way to a beautiful ceremony at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, where they were promoted to middle school. Congratulations 5th Graders!

Last night, our 8th Grade Class Night was a beautiful celebration of memories, accomplishments, and new beginnings.
The evening began in the gym, where students and families enjoyed a special slideshow, and shared their individual picture collages with their families. We then gathered in the church for a heartfelt award ceremony, where each student shared personal reflections on their time at St. Thomas & St. Timothy School and the wonderful memories they have made there.
To top off this memorable evening, everyone enjoyed a sweet treat from the ice cream truck! What a great way to finish off their school year!

Fourth grade students welcomed their families to a CT Publishing Party, showcasing their “All About Connecticut” books that covered topics of our state’s history, climate and government. Students did extensive research on important people and places such as Blessed Michael McGivney and the Cathedral of Saint Joseph and displayed their knowledge of CT with artistic sculptures and posters. Great job, 4th graders!

At the St. Timothy Middle School Spring Concert on Tuesday, students filled the night with incredible talent and joy. From the uplifting songs performed by the choir, to the wonderful music from our band and strings students, every performance was met with enthusiastic applause — and even standing ovations! We are so proud of our young musicians and grateful to our dedicated music teachers who helped make the evening so special.
